BLACKOUT BRITAIN join Capital 95.8 in

Lights Out London June 21st 9pm - 10pm

Support London and BLACKOUT your city, town or village in a carbon free action on Climate Change that everyone can get involved in.


BLACKOUT BRITAIN is working with Capital 95.8 on Lights out London, a unique collaboration of celebrities, statesmen and businesses, aimed at showing Londoners how a small switch can effect a big climate change. The Lights out London initiative will be the world's biggest climate change event and Capital 95.8 and its partners will be asking Londoners to switch off - to turn off their non essential lights and appliances between 9pm and 10pm on the longest day - Thursday 21st June. We are aiming to save around 750 MWh of electricity in just one hour - enough to run 3000 televisions for a year. To get involved, go to www.capitalradio.com/lightsoutlondon
